Our Shutters are all made from wood, 100% sustainable Basswood. It's a hard wood and extremely light making it the perfect raw material for Shutters. We don't believe MDF based products or PVC have a place in the home. PVC has to be supported by aluminium cores because it's so heavy and therefore difficult to man oeuvre. And if MDF gets wet it turns to a weetbix type substance. We have worked with wood over the past 15 years selling Venetian Blinds and Shutters and really do stand behind the quality, the workmanship and the way we measure/install and configure our Shutters.
